Lors d’une réunion qui célébrait les dix ans du label French Tech, ce lundi 20 février 2023, Emmanuel Macron a pressé les investisseurs privés de soutenir davantage les entreprises du secteur.
Cette promotion 2022, qui compte une trentaine d’entrants, fait la part belle aux innovations de rupture, à la transition écologique et à l’industrie. Les entreprises du palmarès ont levé l’an dernier 5,8 milliards d’euros, près de la moitié des 13,5 milliards d’euros levés par des start-up françaises.

Nurse banks millions after side hustle goes viral: ‘It was very unintentional’
Stephanee Beggs was named to Forbes 30 under 30 list North America 2023 for her accomplishments.
« I fell right into it. It was very unintentional. I started selling my notes when I graduated from nursing school. I was studying for the board exam, what we call the N.C.L.E.X. for nursing. And it was right when the pandemic happened, so I had nobody to study with. I would teach myself to the wall and I would record it. And then I posted that on social media and people loved it, » Beggs explained to substitute host Ashley Webster.
They asked to buy my study sheets. So then, I created a shop that eventually became viral. And yeah, and so now I sell study sheets. I passed the boards a long time ago, and now I sell them for students who are approaching the board’s exam and taking tests in nursing school, » Beggs explained.
Beggs started selling her notes in June 2020 and surpassed $2 million in profits last year alone.

Late on Friday, Twitter announced a new policy that will remove text message two-factor authentication (2FA) from any account that won’t pay for it.
In a blog post, Twitter said that it will only allow accounts that subscribe to its premium Twitter Blue feature to use text message-based 2FA. Twitter users that don’t switch to a different type of two-factor authentication will have the feature removed from their accounts by March 20. That means that anyone who relies on Twitter sending a text message code to their phone to log in will have their 2FA switched off, allowing anyone to access their accounts with just a password. If you have an easily guessable Twitter password or use that same password on another site or service, you should take action sooner rather than later.
Meta is testing a subscription service which will allow Instagram and Facebook users to pay to get verified, Mark Zuckerberg announced on Instagram Sunday.
“Meta Verified” will start at $11.99 a month on the web or $14.99 a month on iOS, and the company will begin releasing it in Australia and New Zealand this week and “more countries soon.” The service also comes with other perks: extra protection from impersonation accounts and direct access to customer support.
