France’s national rugby league immerses the sport in the world of Web 3.0 with OVAL3
Paris– OVAL3, a brand specializing in Web3 for rugby, has won the consultation launched by the Ligue National Rugby – LNR (the French National Rugby League), for the international offer of NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) for professional rugby, starting with the 2022/2023 season.
The awarding of the TOP 14 and PRO D2 licenses will allow OVAL3 and the LNR to bring rugby into the world of NFTs/NFT rugby cards and Play & Own to conquer new audiences interested in immersive experiences and Web 3.0.
Oval3 wins the consultation launched by the LNR with NFT specialists
In order to invest in the NFT market and position French professional rugby as a driving force in a fast-growing sector, the LNR and its Commission for Economic Development and Innovation (CDEI) launched a consultation with NFT market players on May 23, 2022.
This consultation was intended to award the marketing of NFT rugby cards to the 30 professional TOP 14 and PRO D2 clubs as well as the 1,500 players under professional or U-21 contracts.
The LNR has decided to grant these rights to OVAL3 for 3 seasons until 2025.

An immersive experience, rugby in the age of NFT and Web 3.0
OVAL3 is a large-scale digital project developed by Bamg Sports, a company that has been a worldwide reference since the creation of the Fantasy Rugby World game.
