DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT AT THE HEART OF FRENCH HABITS (DALENYS)
Dalenys, Groupe BPCE’s digital payments fintech, unveils the main findings of the payments observatory 1 to better understand French consumption habits for digital entertainment (movies, series, music, books via digital platforms and video games). The study shows a consumption peak in 2020 of 50% for digital entertainment (compared to 2019); as well as a 20% increase in spending and 37% increase in transactions between 2020 and 2021. Video streaming and VOD and video games top the list of most consumed products and services.
